You avoid overbooking by using resources, such as instructors, studio rooms, kilns, cooking stations or shared equipment. A resource can only be booked once at the same time, which means BookSpot automatically blocks availability when your real capacity is reached.
If you run several workshops simultaneously, you simply connect the same resources to those products. BookSpot then manages availability automatically, allowing you to maximise utilisation without risking conflicts.
For example, if you offer four workshops at the same time but only have two instructors available, you connect the instructors as shared resources. Once both instructors are assigned, additional workshops are automatically closed for that time.
