New Features in BookSpot – October 2025
We’re continuing to develop BookSpot with new features that save time and give you even more control over your bookings. Here are the latest updates designed to make your everyday work both easier and more enjoyable.

1. New Agent Portal for Easier Collaboration and Clearer Insights
We’re launching the Agent Portal – a new and seamless way to collaborate with your agents directly in BookSpot. 🎉 Agents can now create and manage their own bookings, view their commission and statistics and track their bookings in real time. They can also download sales reports showing only their own bookings and the commission they’ll receive.
As an administrator, you have full control over which products each agent has access to, what commission rates apply, and you can easily assign or adjust bookings when needed.
This makes it easier than ever to keep track of collaborations and sales through agents – all gathered in one place, fully integrated within BookSpot.
Want to start working with agents? Go to Settings > Users > Invite new agent and follow the steps.

2. Automatic translation with AI
Offering your booking experience in multiple languages has never been easier. 🌍 With the new AI Translation feature, you can now translate free text directly in BookSpot – quickly, seamlessly, and without leaving the system.
The feature uses the latest AI models to automatically translate text content such as product descriptions, terms, and automated messages. Everything happens right where you write the text – simply click the magic wand icon ✨ next to the text field, choose your languages, and let the system do the work. Perfect when you want to give customers in different countries the same great and personal experience – in their own language.
💡 Remember: AI translations should always be reviewed by a human before publishing to make sure the tone and content are completely accurate.

3. New advanced resource setting with quotas per resource
With the new Advanced Resource Ratios feature, you can now control exactly how many resources a product should reserve. This gives you full control over how your capacity is distributed – perfect for businesses where different products need to occupy different numbers of spots on the same resource. This feature has many use cases for more complex setups – for example, for businesses offering both open and private products, such as sauna sessions, paintball, or guided tours – where you might want one product to book an entire resource, while another only books a single spot.
You’ll find the setting under Product Settings > Availability > Resources. There, you can deactivate “Allow all resources in the selected category to be booked”, select which resources the product should have access to and set how many units should be reserved per booking.

4. Select Price Categories for Value Codes
With the new “Valid for all price categories” setting for discount/value codes, you now have even greater control over your discounts and vouchers. You can choose exactly which price categories a code should apply to – for example, only adults or children.
This makes it easier to target your value codes and campaigns towards a specific audience and tailor discounts to your business needs. Perfect when you want to offer a special deal for children, or a discount on adult prices during a certain period.
You’ll find the setting under Discount/Value Code Settings > Valid for all price categories, where you can select which price categories the code should apply to.

5. New Tab for Accruals Income
For those of you using the invoice method for accounting, we’ve added a new Accruals tab under Reports > Overview > Accural Income. This tab now lists sales from new bookings, sales from completed bookings, cancellations, and the remaining value at the end of the period – that is, bookings that haven’t yet taken place.
